An honest eSPACE alternative for churches
eSPACE, the church facility management software from Smart Church Solutions, has served churches for a long time, and it does a few things we don’t. If you’re weighing a move, here’s what eSPACE costs next to WiseHQ, what you’d gain, what you’d give up, and how to switch without losing your history.

What it costs
eSPACE pricing compared with WiseHQ
eSPACE sells its Event Scheduler and its Work Order & Asset Management as two separate products, each billed once a year. Every WiseHQ plan includes room and event scheduling, work orders and preventive maintenance, billed monthly or yearly.

Why churches switch
What you'd gain by switching from eSPACE
The biggest differences show up for the people who never logged into eSPACE at all.
WiseHQ AI reads your documents
Upload a certificate, a lease or an insurance policy and WiseHQ AI finds the expiration date and shows you where on the page it found it. Once you confirm it, the right people are reminded 30, 14 and 3 days before it’s due, and you can ask the document a question and get the answer with its page. We couldn’t find anything like it on eSPACE’s feature pages.
A room's QR code works for anyone
Both tools can put a QR code in a room. In eSPACE, scanning it opens a sign-in page, so people without an eSPACE account use a general public request form or email instead. In WiseHQ, a teacher or a volunteer can scan the code and report a problem without signing in, with the room already filled in.
One plan, one calendar, no monthly counting
Room and event scheduling, maintenance and work orders share one facility calendar and one bill, and nobody counts how many events you create in a month.
Planning Center sync
If your church runs on Planning Center, WiseHQ keeps your people in step with it on Pro and above (read-only, so Planning Center stays your source of truth). eSPACE’s church management integrations cover Rock RMS, TouchPoint, CCB, ACS, MinistryPlatform, Church Teams and One Church, but not Planning Center.

The safe way to switch
How to switch from eSPACE without losing your data
Switchers only get burned when they cancel first. Plan the export, and the rest is straightforward.
Check your renewal date
eSPACE bills a year at a time and, under its terms of use, renews automatically unless you cancel before the next cycle, so plan to finish the move before your renewal date rather than paying for a year you won’t use.
Export everything before you cancel
eSPACE’s Report Builder exports to Excel or PDF, so you can pull your work orders, equipment and events into spreadsheets while your account is still active. Its terms of use say ending the service means forfeiting all the content in your account, and the only export window they describe is for eSPACE itself shutting down.
On Premium and above, use eSPACE's API
eSPACE includes API access from its Premium plan up, which can pull a fuller record than the spreadsheet reports.
Bring the spreadsheets to us
We’ll help you load your buildings, rooms, assets, schedules and open work orders into WiseHQ, then run both for a week or two and cancel eSPACE once you’ve checked that everything arrived.
